Interesting set. I didn't know there was anything on the spur. When I last lived on the island, this was the Brookhaven National Labs spur, which was largely inactive at the time-1970's/80's. It started life as a loop that served a WW I training and embarkation camp, Camp Upton, leaving the Main Line at Calverton, and rejoining the Montauk Branch near Eastport.
